As the Principal of Lakeview School
I would like to welcome you to our website.
Lakeview School is a new school,
brought about by
the merger of three Masterton
Schools. We have approximately
450 to 500 students attending our school. 50% of students
come from European descent, 48% of our students come
from Maori descent and the remainder come from other cultures
and backgrounds. We are proud of our
diversity and believe that this is one of our strengths. Our
aim is to build on this in the years to come. |

We are in a fortunate position that most schools never have the chance to
experience. Staff, Parents, Caregivers and Students are working
together to create our shared future and build new exciting traditions that
will last a lifetime!
We are also
proud of the magnificent Henley Lake that borders our grounds.
To us this is part of our backyard and we want to continue to
develop our use of this wonderful resource.
Our staff are committed,
focused and have a high degree of professionalism. The individual
identification of student needs and the desire to realise their
full potential can be demonstrated in an ever increasing range of
learning experiences provided by teachers.
We are committed
to building a strong, open and supportive school that welcomes all
pupils, parents and friends and helps students reach their full
potential.
Please contact me if you any queries or would like to discuss your
child’s enrolment at Lakeview School.
