School Uniform

Lakeview School has a uniform code and we expect all children to be in uniform.

Buying the uniform

The uniform can be purchased from Postie Plus in Queen Street Masterton, lay-buy is available. If you feel you need help in purchasing uniforms then you may be eligible for Work and Income NZ (WINZ) assistance. WINZ Masterton office is located in Lincoln Road (Masterton) or phone 06-946-0088.

Parents can choose which items their child is likely to wear. You do not have to purchase every item. Eg polar fleece vest, drill shorts. Please make sure your child’s uniform is named.

Lakeview School Crest

School Crests are on the polo shirts, polar fleece jumpers and polar fleece vests. This is White against the Navy.

Dress Code

• Wearing the correct school uniform is expected, so too is a sunhat Lakeview is a Sun Smart school.

• A wristwatch, medical bracelet and small un-obtrusive studs are permitted.

• Jewellery is NOT to be worn, the exception is stud earrings and one chain or cord adornment (concealed),

• Nail polish and make-up are not to be worn.

Sports Uniforms

All sports uniforms will be provided by the school, these are issued at the start of each season and gathered back in after (in the same condition that they were given out).

During 2004 the PTA fundraised to assist in the purchase of sports uniforms, a huge thank you to the PTA.
